- Assignments should be written directly in your hand. It will be useful to understand the subject as well as practice handwriting.
- Use any paper when writing an assignment. However, name, class, roll, subject, and title/type of work should be written on the cover page.
Evaluation Instructions for Teachers:
The teachers will play a significant role in this web-based assignment system provided by the directorate of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. They have to follow the below instruction for giving, collecting, evaluating, and storing the assignment.
- Following the assignment grid (published on the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education), the student has to assign three assignments (work) per week.
- The task of submitting the proposed scheme (assignment) of the prescribed subjects, showing the students’ assessment, and the assessment examination comments then storing it in the institution has to be completed by 31st December.
- Must ensure the participation of each student.
- Every educational institution has to keep all the assessment records properly.
- Assignment (work) includes descriptive questions, short answer questions, Creative Questions report preparation, etc.
- Students will submit assignments on white paper by handwritten [No Computer typing will be accepted]
- The parent or student’s guardian/ representative must follow the covid-19 rules provided by the DGHS, collect and submit the assignment from the educational institution once a week.
- The teacher will pay special attention to whether the student’s writing reflects their essential thinking, imagination, or creativity.
- The answers given should be consistent with the required information, theories, concepts, formulas, explanations, etc.
- Assess each student’s assignment in each subject and mark his / her strengths/weaknesses in the notebook; His comments should be recorded so that the student can clearly understand his strengths and weaknesses.
- After evaluating the assignment, the teacher will make arrangements to reach the assignment with his opinion and will return it at the end of a specified time and save it in the institution.
- The teacher will comment on the overall assessment of all the assignments in a subject in a class. E.g., (Excellent, good, average, and requires progress).

- The Education Officers of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education, Regional, District, and Upazila level will monitor the students’ assignment and evaluation process to verify the effectiveness of the student assessment for the web-based assignment system. So these have to be stored properly.
- Care must be taken to ensure that no student is exposed to immoral pressures. Local education officials can be contacted if any information is required in this regard.
- Confirm the participation of Teacher students in the student assessment by the assignment.
- The assignment grid (published in the Department of Secondary and Higher Education) should be followed.
- The Head Teacher can arrange an assignment deposit box if necessary, to avoid social distance/student gathering.
- Authorities have to publish a routine When to submit class assignments at specific times on specific days and distribute subsequent tasks to maintain social distance.
- If Students submit an assignment by copying from a notebook, guide book, or someone else’s writing, Teachers will need to cancel it and ask to re-submit that assignment.
