Scotland Government Scholarships 2022: Want to study in Scotland and look for a postgraduate degree scholarship. Applicants can apply for the Saltire scholarships by getting an offer from any Scotland Higher Education Institutions.
The Scotland government comes with a scheme for international students to study in different Scottish universities in Scotland. They offer 50 awards worth $8000 each for one year master’s postgraduate program in different higher education institutions in Scotland.
There are a total of 19 Scottish universities available to study in the Postgraduate Program in Scotland. Applicants must get a conditional or unconditional offer letter from these universities to apply for the scholarships to get a scholarship.
Citizens from Canada, China (including Hong Kong), India, Japan, Pakistan, and the USA can apply for scholarships to study in Scotland.

Scotland Government Scholarships for International Students
Saltire Scholarships is a partially funded scholarship for international students to study in Scottish universities hosted by the Scotland Government in 2022.
Interested Applicants can apply for the Scotland saltire scholarships if they have the eligibility criteria and these scholarships’ requirements.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Get an Offer from any 19 Higher Education Institutions in Scotland
- Be able to bear the cost of living in Scotland and make the remaining tuition fees.
- Applying for the first time to study in Scotland.
- Candidates Have not received any Scottish government scholarships before.
- Complete the application form before the deadline and meet the language requirements.
- It does not require IELTS, but Good Communication skills are required.
Eligible Course:
The course must be a postgraduate Masters level course in one of the following subject areas:
- Science: Earth Sciences, Environment, Energy, Geology, Weather and Climate, Plants/Botany, Animals/Zoology.
- Technology: Software, Engineering, Bioinformatics, Information, Systems, Multimedia, Engineering, Computers,
- Creative industries: Communications, Media and Culture, Broadcasting, Film, Animation, Journalism, Cultural, Publishing, New Media Studies, Computer Games / Computer Arts, Design, Graphic, Industrial, Interior, Fashion
- Healthcare and medical sciences: Physical and Life Sciences, Astronomy, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Health Sciences, Biotechnology.
- Renewable and clean energy: Sustainable Engineering, Renewable Energy, Biomass / Biofuels, Hydro / Solar / Tidal / Windpower.
